we have another tooth!
as of last night. mashallah. MAN those things are sharp! they feel like little knife points sticking out of his gums.
musa is sniffly, and i feel like such an abusive parent when i try to clean out his nose. i literally have to use my arm to pin both of his hands down, immobilize his head with some other part of my body, and stick the aspirator up his nose as carefully as possible while he is screaming his head off and trying to move his head away. but oh, the feeling of success when i get that snot out, and the peace in my heart when i can no longer hear it bubbling in his sinuses with every breath!
i can completely understand why non-parents get bored with parents always talking about their kids. but i am so glad to know there are people out there who understand just how important this tiny, gross victory is... :)

mubarak ho! on both - the new teeth and the extracted booger.
tiny victories? depends on the size of the booger ...
as for me, still in no hurry for teeth but she is acting like she might be ...
yeah, i felt my first bite during nursing last night. and he doesn't even have the top teeth yet! now i feel traumatized, like every time i nurse i'm on edge. argh.
oh, and this was thick stringy yellow snot... (can booger refer to snot? i always thought of boogers as the dried stuff. oh well...)
Sayf has weaned himself, so no teeth worries for Manal.
Sayf has one out, and another peeking out. I think the first one came out about a month ago, at 7 months.
Sinan I dont think got his first tooth until age 9 months. Sayf, we feel, is probably going to do everything quicker. Maybe Sinan is a rolemodel.
Sayf already is sick of crawling, and he stands against everything, not content to sit or crawl.
We reckon he will walk about 10 months maybe? Maybe even sooner.
